Ask UK Government to support the fishing industry to cope with the high cost of fuel

We the undersigned hereby petition the UK Government to support the fishing industry by offering emergency financial support to cope with the unusually high cost of fuel caused by conflict in the Middle East.
We do not want to see fishing boats tied up because they can't afford to go to sea. Our coastal communities and economy depends heavily on the industry - we want to see it supported as other European governments have chosen to support theirs.
